The Lockdown technique in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is often times deemed as dangerous, especially for the person on whom the Lockdown is getting applied to. And especially in regards to this person's knee health.
But, even though knee injuries do happen when in a Lockdown position, it isn't because of the Lockdown itself... Rather, it's due to how the person applies it and to how the opponent "defends" against it.
